After two seasons wearing the Laboral Kutxa - Fundación Euskadi jersey and achieving a victory and several placements, Laura Tomasi is ready to write a new chapter in her cycling career. The 26-year-old from Treviso, Miane, will wear the jersey of Uno-X Mobility, a Women World Tour team directed by General Manager Thor Hushovd from next year, at least until the end of the 2027 season.
The Norwegian team's manager, talking about Tomasi, stated: "Laura brings considerable experience in sprint finishes. She also has an excellent instinct for breakaways and is an explosive cyclist. This will overall strengthen our team and will be a great added value for the coming seasons". Tomasi also expressed her satisfaction: "With Uno-X Mobility, I share the vision and objectives, and I believe this is the right step to grow as an athlete. I hope to continue improving and help the team in its growth".
After the official announcement of the Veneto athlete's transfer to the Norwegian squad, Laboral Kutxa - Fundación Euskadi posted a message reading: "During these two years, Laura has brought her strength and joy to the group. From 2026, our paths will be different, but we will always be happy to see her pedaling on the roads".
Tomasi, who has recently been competing in Belgium during the Tour de France Femmes, is preparing for the end of the season where we might see her as a protagonist with the Basque team's jersey before starting her new adventure with Uno X.
