Rémi Lelandais is the first leader of the Tour Alsace. The 22-year-old French rider from Arkéa - B&B Hôtels Continental, together with teammates Emmanuel Houcou and Lucas Janssen, recorded the best time in the team time trial that opened the 2025 edition of the French race, covering the 4 kilometers of the route through the streets of Sausheim in 5'05".

4" behind the winning trio was the Team Visma | Lease a Bike Development trio composed of Pietro Mattio, William Smith and Elliot Rowe; in third position - with the same time as the Dutch team - was the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team trio with Savino, Van Strijthem and Schoofs.

In this Alsatian competition, a 2.2 category race, teams fielded six-rider formations, but for this first "chapter" of the race, the organizers chose to adopt a format that brought two trios to the starting platform.

Tomorrow, the first stage will offer 168 kilometers between Rust and Sélestat: on paper, it will be a day for sprinters.
