Victor Campenaerts, belga della LottoNL Jumbo, ha vinto la terza tappa contro il tempo della Vuelta Andalucia-Ruta del Sol, da Lucena a Cordoba di 12 chilometri. Superlativa la prestazione dell'ex campione europeo a cronometro degli under 23 di Brno 2013, che ha la meglio nei confronti di Alejandro Valverde (Movistar), secondo classificato a 1", e di Alberto Contador (Trek Segafredo) che chiude con un gap di 6" ma è costretto a cedere il primato per un 1" al connazionale Valverde. Ottima anche la prova del vincitore del Trofeo Laigueglia Fabio Felline che si piazza al quinto posto a 9".
