The great international cyclocross returns as the protagonist at Vittoria Park in Brembate, in the province of Bergamo, with the 47th edition of the Gran Premio Guerciotti – Memorial Mamma e Papà, scheduled for Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026. A historic appointment that renews Guerciotti's sporting tradition and introduces important innovations to the program, confirming the commitment to enhance cyclocross through an event that combines competition, spectacle, and attention to the new generations.
In almost half a century of history, the Gran Premio Guerciotti has built a prestigious roll of honor, hosting some of the most important names in Italian and international cyclocross. Among the winners are champions such as Daniele Pontoni, Sven Nys, Bart Wellens, and Marco Aurelio Fontana. A path that testifies to the sporting value of the event and its connection with the evolution of the discipline, in which Guerciotti continues to invest with passion and expertise.
The main innovation of the 47th edition of the Gran Premio Guerciotti concerns Friday, October 30, entirely dedicated to international UCI C2 category races. A high-level program that will feature the Elite/Under 23 categories in the Open race and the Junior category, with particular attention to the closing event of the day. The men's Junior race, scheduled for 7:15 PM, will take place in the evening: it will be the first time in the history of the Gran Premio Guerciotti that this competition will be held in the evening, introducing an element of novelty and spectacle for athletes and the public.
Friday's program will start at 2:45 PM with the Men's Open race, the first competition of the day for RAI broadcast requirements, essential to guarantee maximum media exposure to the most important challenge on the schedule. The Women's Open race is then scheduled for 4:30 PM, continuing at 6:00 PM with the Women's Juniors. As indicated, the closing at 7:15 PM will be entrusted to the Men's Juniors, protagonists of a race that marks a new chapter in the long history of the event.
Saturday, October 31, the Gran Premio will continue with youth and amateur categories, confirming its cross-cutting vocation and the importance of offering space to the entire cyclocross movement. Races will begin at 10:00 AM with first-year male Juniors, followed at 10:40 AM by second-year Juniors and at 11:30 AM by female Beginners and Juniors. At 1:00 PM it will be the turn of male Beginners, while at 2:30 PM the Amateur races will start. A day dedicated to young athletes and enthusiasts, in which technique, determination, and riding skills will be at the center of the competition.
"The Gran Premio Guerciotti is much more than a race: it is an appointment that tells our story and our family's passion for cyclocross. Reaching the 47th edition is a source of great pride. This year we are particularly pleased to introduce the men's Junior race in the evening, an absolute novelty that will make Friday's day even more special and offer the public a new racing experience", emphasizes Micaela Guerciotti, communication manager of the Fas Airport Services Guerciotti Premac team.
The event will be hosted at the Vittoria Park, a facility dedicated to cycling that will welcome athletes, teams, and enthusiasts for two days of sport. The 47th Gran Premio Guerciotti thus confirms itself as a reference appointment for cyclocross, capable of renewing a consolidated tradition through new formulas and opportunities for spectacle.
"We are pleased to host at Vittoria Park a historic event like the Gran Premio Guerciotti, which represents an important appointment for the Italian and international cyclocross landscape. Events of this level are fully in line with our vision: to make Vittoria Park a point of reference for cycling, capable of welcoming athletes and enthusiasts and offering concrete opportunities to experience sport as protagonists. We are particularly pleased to collaborate with Guerciotti in this edition as well, which presents interesting innovations and involves athletes of all ages", declares Loredana Calò, Managing Director of Vittoria Park.
The Vittoria Park setting will also be the occasion to officially present the FAS Airport Services Guerciotti Premac Cyclocross Team for the 2026/2027 season, which will be introduced during the press conference scheduled for Thursday, October 29. The team brings together athletes from the Elite, Under 23, Junior, Junior, and Beginner categories, expressing management's commitment to supporting the sporting growth of young people and promoting talent along a path that crosses different levels of competition.

We want to offer our riders an environment in which they can develop their talent, compete at different levels, and build an ambitious sporting path, bringing Guerciotti's values and identity to the races. Since the beginning of the season, the team has proven to be extremely competitive, achieving important results and confirming the quality of the work carried out by athletes, coaches, and staff. We are particularly satisfied with the progress and excellent placements achieved by Lucia Bramati in races in Belgium, results that testify to her value and the team's ability to compete at a high level even in international contexts", declares Alessandro Guerciotti, Team Manager of the Fas Airport Services Guerciotti Premac team.
