Absolute dominance by MG Kvis Costruzioni e Ambiente in the 76th edition of the Targa Crocifisso, the traditional race held in Polignano a Mare, in the province of Bari. The Tuscan team, directed by Angelo Baldini, monopolized the top positions in the standings, delivering an outstanding collective performance.
Victory went to British rider William Harding, who crossed the finish line ahead of his teammate Vittorio Friggi, completing a splendid one-two finish. Colombian Edwin Rubio Sierra claimed the third step of the podium, also putting in a convincing performance.
The Tuscan team's superiority was further confirmed by the placings behind the podium: Mattia Marcozzi finished fourth, Andrea Cantoni fifth, and George Wood sixth, rounding out a practically perfect day for MG Kvis Costruzioni e Ambiente.
The only downside was the poor turnout. Only 18 riders took the start, a decidedly small number for a race of such prestige and long tradition, which would have deserved a more substantial field despite the advanced stage of the racing season.
