In the first days of January 2027, Cattolica and Misano Adriatico will become the beating heart of Italian cyclocross. The two Romagna localities will host the Italian Youth Cyclocross Championships, under the auspices of the Italian Cycling Federation reserved for youth and junior categories, both men's and women's. An appointment that promises to be the most prestigious showcase of the discipline at youth level, ready to welcome hundreds of athletes, coaches and supporters from all over Italy: Tuesday, January 5 is dedicated to the team relay race, while on Epiphany (Wednesday, January 6) there will be the highlight with the individual races for each category.

The organization is signed by Velo Club Cattolica, which lives cycling in all its forms, thanks to the passion and expertise of its board and staff, always at the forefront in promoting youth activities. The Valle del Conca Nordic Walking and Mountain Bike association is also actively collaborating in the organization.

The assignment of the Italian Championships stems from a structured project, developed on the occasion of "Cattolica European City of Sport 2027", made possible thanks to effective synergy with the Emilia Romagna Region, the municipal administrations of Cattolica and Misano Adriatico, as well as the fundamental support of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Committee of the Italian Cycling Federation.

The race course, studied in detail, will be set up in the seaside area and along the banks of the Conca river, at the border with the municipality of Misano Adriatico and adjacent to the Cattolica Aquarium.

A unique and unrepeatable opportunity that will contribute to offering a first-class promotional, tourist-environmental and sports image of the two host cities and the entire Emilia-Romagna region, confirming once again the great vocation for hospitality and the deep passion for cycling that have always animated this territory.
