Andrea Biancalani was the star of the 76th Gran Premio Calvatone, a national amateur classic held today on the roads of the Cremona region. The Beltrami TSA Tre Colli rider secured victory thanks to a brilliant solo attack that allowed him to cross the finish line in complete isolation.
Behind him, Luca Rosa (Sissio Team) finished in second place, 6 seconds down, while British rider William Harding (MG Kvis Costruzioni e Ambiente) completed the podium with a gap of 8 seconds from the winner. The other chasers were further back, with Scarso fourth at 19 seconds, ahead of Biondani and Saccani.
For Biancalani, this is a prestigious victory in one of the traditional races on the national amateur calendar, achieved through an aggressive racing approach and a final sprint of great determination.
