Spanish rider Alex Aranburu was involved in a crash that occurred in the final stages of the Coppa Bernocchi. The Cofidis rider was immediately assisted and taken to hospital for the necessary medical examinations: he was diagnosed with a clavicle fracture and a compound iliac crest fracture.
