First seasonal commitment for the Ale CX Team, which will be at the start of the second stage of the Giro delle Regioni Cyclocross. The international race will take place on Sunday, October 4th in Friuli Venezia Giulia, at Tarvisio, in the mountains of Val Canale. The Modena-based team will not have their "flagship rider" Gioele Bertolini competing, as he is currently in Spain, specifically in Andalusia, at the 35th Military World Championship of Mountain Bike. Two second-year Juniors will also be absent: Omar Berlini, who begins the season in the third stage on October 11th at Osoppo, and Franz Engele, who is recovering from an injury.
"It will be the usual very difficult and technical course if the weather is nice as expected, otherwise with rain the difficulties of the track increase and you will have to be very careful in interpreting the race". These are the impressions of the two sports directors Milena Cavani and Eva Lechner, who then add: "We always start positive and we know that all our boys and girls will give 120% in the race".
The Ale CX Team will have the following athletes competing at Tarvisio.
Nicole Azzetti (Under 23 1st year), Ettore Fabbro (Under 23), Sara Peruta (Juniors 2nd year), Greta Masini (Juniors 1st year), Matilde Carretta (Juniors 1st year), Beatrice Maifré (Juniors 1st year), Nicolas Scalorbi (Juniors 2nd year), Riccardo Paolo Nadal (Juniors), Carlotta Lunghi (Junior 2nd year), Leire Storani Ruiz-Navarro (Junior 2nd year), Pablo Zanolini (Beginner 2nd year), Gael Storani Ruiz-Navarro (Beginner 1st year).
