Pavel Bittner, Czech sprinter for Team Picnic PostNL, won in a sprint the 76th edition of the French classic Paris-Chauny, held today over the 203.6 kilometers separating Margny-lès-Compiègne and Chauny (Aisne). Bittner edged out Lionel Taminiaux (Lotto-Intermarchè) in a photo finish with Tobias Müller (Unibet Rose Rockets) completing the podium. Italian representation in the top ten thanks to Tommaso Bessega from Team Polti VisitMalta who finished in ninth place.
