Marco Spanio's excellent run of form continues. Just seven days after his victory in the Orsago-Cima Col Alt race, the Prato-based rider from Vangi Tommasini Il Pirata has also claimed the Olgiate Molgora-Ghisallo event in the junior category. The Tuscan rider got the better of Lombard champion Riccardo Vesco (Team Guerrini Senaghese) in a two-man sprint, with whom he had made the decisive move on the final slopes of Ghisallo. Gianluca Archetti completed the podium, crossing the finish line 6 seconds behind.
