On a redesigned course, the 56th edition of the Ruota d'Oro - 94th G.P. Festa del Perdono will be held on Tuesday, September 29th in Terranuova Bracciolini in the province of Arezzo, an international classic reserved for the Under 23 category. A different route designed to make it more thrilling and to enhance the competitive spectacle. In practice, the circuits have been remodeled and, compared to the past, the race will see the finish line passage on Viale Europa already in the early stages of the race, precisely at km 25.1, while there will be four passages over the mountain prime at Cima Berna.

A breathtaking finale after various passages over the hills of Piantravigne, Montemarciano and Persignano, crossing Tasso, Cicogna (with the final climb at km 163.6) and Monticello, before the finish on the Viale Europa straightaway in Terranuova Bracciolini after 170 km, where British rider Joseph Brookes won last year.

MAIN ENTRIES: 175 riders are ready to compete for a prestigious victory, with 34 teams from across the European continent and beyond, representing more than 15 nations. Alongside the best teams from the Italian national scene – including Biesse-Carrera-Premac, General Store-Essegibi-F.lli Curia, Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna, Team Hopplà and SC Padovani – the 2026 Ruota d'Oro will feature top-tier development squads from WorldTour and global ProTeam cycling. These include INEOS Grenadiers Racing Academy (Great Britain), XDS Astana Development Team (Kazakhstan/Italy), Bahrain Victorious Devo Team, Equipo Finisher - Kern Pharma (Spain), Tirol KTM Cycling Team (Austria), AVC Aix Provence Dole (France), Team ColoQuick (Denmark), Fany Gastro Integray L27 (Czech Republic), Ukraine Cycling Team (Ukraine), Velo Performance U23 (Ireland), Team Skyline (USA). Among the leading riders are 2025 winner Brookes, Italian champion Negrente, Milesi, Frigo, Capra, Basso, Vesco, Arrighetti, Remelli, and Gialli.

Adding further technical value to the race is the presence of several athletes who wear or have won national road and time trial titles: Slesarenko, Belarusian time trial champion; Mishankov, Russian champion in both road and time trial, Maekele, Eritrean road champion; Landbo, Danish time trial champion, fresh from the Canadian World Championships; Kamberay and Harasim, respectively Albanian road champion and Romanian time trial champion. The official start of the 56th Ruota d'Oro-Gran Premio Festa del Perdono will be given from Viale Europa at 1:00 PM.
