The puzzle that will come together on Sunday, October 4th, for the 2026 Coppa Agostoni - Giro delle Brianze is becoming increasingly clear. The race based in Lissone, which is part of the Regional Italy Cup project established by the Cycling League, has always been able to attract some of the sport's greatest interpreters - just browse through the roll of honour to see for yourself - and this edition will be no exception.

The organizers of SC Mobili Lissone have officially announced the list of 22 teams that will battle it out over the Brianza hills and familiar names will not be lacking. UAE Team Emirates-XRG has won the last 3 editions (with Davide Formolo, Marc Hirschi and Adam Yates) and this year will aim for four in a row relying on - according to early reports - Brandon McNulty, Tim Wellens and Benoît Cosnefroy, with the American in particular being among the contenders for a medal at the world championships in the elite road race on Sunday.

Speaking of the USA, there should also be American champion Quinn Simmons, who will lead Lidl-Trek alongside Valtellina's Andrea Bagioli. Then there will be Soudal Quick-Step with Mikel Landa, winner a few days ago of the queen stage of the Vuelta a España, Jayco AlUla, Alpecin-Premier Tech, XDS Astana with former pink jersey Thomas Silva and Bergamo's Alessandro Romele, Movistar with Carlos Canal, 2nd place last year, Decathlon CMA CGM with Paul Lapeira and the always formidable Uno-X Mobility, which this year has won stages in all three Grand Tours.

There will be 9 WorldTour teams in total, to which will be added the development team of Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe. There are 7 Professional teams, with the inevitable presence of Italian formations, Polti VisitMalta, Bardiani CSF 7 Saber and Solution Tech NIPPO Rali, plus the Italian-Hungarian MBH Bank Csb Telecom Fort, and then Cofidis, Pinarello Q36.5 and Caja Rural-Seguros RGA.

Ready to animate the race from its opening moments are 6 Continental teams (including the Red Bull Rookies). In particular, it is worth highlighting the debut on home roads of Swatt Club, which with its highly recognizable fans is already working to turn the Lissolo climb into a true natural stadium, between celebration and support.
