The GS Emilia of Adriano Amici has communicated to the Professional Cycling League that the second edition of the Textile & Fashion Trophy – Municipalities of Valdengo and Biella and the Textile & Fashion Trophy – Valdengo-Oropa, initially scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026 and included in the calendar of the Regional Italy Cup, will not be able to be held.

The races, entrusted to the organization of GS Emilia, were subject to careful evaluation by all the parties involved. During the preparation phase, however, some objective organizational and operational difficulties emerged, which do not allow guaranteeing the holding of the events under the necessary conditions.

The decision was made with regret and a sense of responsibility, considering the need to ensure adequate organizational, logistical, and safety standards.

The Professional Cycling League and GS Emilia of Adriano Amici wish to thank the institutions, local administrations, sponsors, sports associations, volunteers, and all those who supported the project and contributed to the preparation of the events.

The commitment to enhance the territories of Biella, Oropa, and Valdengo, as well as the entire Piedmont region, remains firm, and to continue the project linked to the Textile & Fashion Trophy – Valdengo-Oropa, with the hope of being able to bring the event back to the professional cycling calendar in the immediate future.
