After the hat-trick of consecutive victories signed by Matteo Malucelli, it was Gleb Syritsa who sealed the four-timer for XDS Astana at the Tour of Taihu Lake 2026.
Twice fifth, once third and once second in the previous days, the Russian sprinter finally managed to claim the most prestigious placing by winning the final stage, the Wuxi-Wuxi 137-kilometre leg, with a sprint that allowed him to put his wheel ahead of those of Joshua Giddings of Lotto Intermarchè (who also climbed the podium as the race's best young rider) and Joes Osterlinck (Van Rysel Roubaix).
With his success (his second of the season and sixth in his professional career), his team was able to celebrate in the best possible way the final act of a race that with Matteo Malucelli (already the overall winner a year ago) also brought the Kazakh team the top spots in the general classification (claimed by the Italian ahead of the aforementioned Giddings and Syritsa) and in the points classification.
