There's never peace for cyclists during training sessions... Yesterday morning, the legendary Oscar Sevilla had a rough experience: "I went out for a training ride and on the highway at Calle 170 I was intercepted by a high-powered motorcycle. They threatened me with a firearm. They didn't manage to steal my bike, but they did take my cell phone. A patrol car passed by, I reported what happened and they told me there was nothing they could do."

Fortunately, the Spanish cyclist suffered no physical consequences from the incident. He has been living, training, and racing in Colombia for years now with Team Medellin EPM.
