The Giro della Lunigiana has found its master once again: Seff Van Kerckhove conquers the second stage of the third leg, the Vezzano Ligure – Riomaggiore, with an uphill finish, confirming his superiority on the most demanding days.

The Belgian, already winner of the last edition, triumphed by a significant margin, after dropping his breakaway companion Michael Hettegger, an Austrian from Decathlon CMA‑CGM U19, with whom he had launched the decisive attack just under 15 km from the finish. A clean, decisive acceleration that reaffirmed his ability to make the difference when the road climbs. Behind them, completing the podium, came another Belgian: Vic De Smet, who delivered a gutsy performance and remained in the thick of the action throughout.
