The suggestive location with a privileged view of the city of Milan offered by the "Silvio Berlusconi" Belvedere at Palazzo Lombardia hosted today the official presentation of the Lombardy Region Triptych 2026, which brings together the 79th Coppa Agostoni scheduled in Lissone on Sunday, October 4, the 107th Coppa Bernocchi in Legnano on Monday, October 5, and the 105th Tre Valli Varesine which will start from Busto Arsizio and conclude in Varese on Tuesday, October 6.
In the presence of Undersecretary of Lombardy Region with responsibility for Sport and Youth, Federica Picchi, and Undersecretary to the Presidency with responsibility for International and European Relations of Lombardy Region, Raffaele Cattaneo, the Sports Assessor of the Municipality of Busto Arsizio, Luca Folegani and the Sports Assessor of the Municipality of Varese Stefano Malerba, along with representatives of Institutions, Law Enforcement, Associations and Sponsors, the Alfredo Binda Cycling Society presented its flagship race, the 105th Tre Valli Varesine – UCI ProSeries, which for over a century has delivered great spectacle and brought the world's strongest cycling champions to the roads of the Varese province.
"We thank the constant commitment of the Alfredo Binda Cycling Society in organizing races like the Coppa Agostoni, the Coppa Bernocchi and the 105th Tre Valli Varesine, capable of keeping the flag of professional cycling high in Lombardy – states Federica Picchi, Undersecretary to the Lombardy Region. Winners of the Major Sporting Events tender, these three competitions represent a sporting and cultural heritage of our Region: they are historic appointments, recognized internationally, of which I am very proud, and which every year attract champions, top-tier teams and thousands of enthusiasts along the roads of Brianza, Legnano and Varese".
The teams entered in the event are 25, of which 17 UCI WorldTeams (the strongest teams in the world) and 8 UCI ProTeams, for a total of 175 professional athletes, the maximum number of participants for UCI ProSeries competition. Among these are expected confirmations of some of the great names in world cycling.
The value of the Tre Valli Varesine was highlighted by S.C. Binda president Renzo Oldani: "The Tre Valli Varesine is an appointment that every year manages to renew its ability to excite and proudly represent our territory. It is a great day of sport, capable of attracting to Varese some of the most important champions of international cycling and bringing our roads into the spotlight of the entire world. It is they, together with all those who collaborate in organizing the races, who make possible such an important project at the international level and which preserves a strong connection with the history and traditions of Varese cycling.
The Tre Valli Varesine and the Tre Valli Varesine Women's Race | e-work UP Lavoro today represent two appointments of great prestige in the Pro Series calendar. Organizing two competitions of this level means working for twelve months, with attention to every detail and with a coordination capacity that involves many people.

The Route
Confirmed is the Textile Museum in Busto Arsizio as the stage headquarters with the presentation of the teams and the women and men athletes who will parade in the garden parterre and the official start of the race.
The men's race route is 200 kilometers from Busto to the heart of Varese. Also confirmed this year is the "mythical" Ronchi climb that from the long Schirrana lake leads to the center of Varese, the same as the 2008 Varese World Championship. In the final of the race, for two laps, the so-called Cinque Piante climb will be tackled, which from Gavirate, Oltrona district, leads to the Barasso climb that ends in front of City Hall and then one last uphill section passing through Luvinate and Casciago. Confirmed are the 6 laps of the city circuit and the finish with the finish line avenue located on Via Sacco, in front of Varese Town Hall.
The Two Races Live on TV Across Five Continents
Also for this edition, the races organized by the Alfredo Binda Cycling Society will be visible live on RAI Sport and RAI 2 and thanks to RAI ITALIA and discovery+ / Eurosport the Tre Valli Varesine will be visible across five continents.

An Eco-Sustainable Event
All events are organized with an eye toward the eco-sustainability of the event. The Tre Valli Varesine was the first race at the international level to use completely electric vehicles following the riders. This year too, the Tre Valli Varesine GREEN is confirmed thanks to the valuable synergy with Centro Car Cazzaro, Paglini and DACIA Italia.
Making possible the organization of these major sporting events contribute significantly, working as a team, public institutions such as the Ministry of Sport, the Lombardy Region, the Province of Varese which next year celebrates its centenary with a rich calendar of events, the Municipality of Busto Arsizio, the Municipality of Varese and the Chamber of Commerce of Varese, Fondazione Varese Welcome, the Valli del Verbano Mountain Community and the Due Laghi Consortium.
