The 2027 roster of Uno-X Mobility is taking increasingly clearer shape. A week after the announcement of Kristian Egholm's arrival, the Scandinavian team has officially confirmed the signing of Casper Pedersen who, after four seasons spent at Soudal Quick-Step, will wear the yellow and red colors from next year onwards.

"I have been dreaming for a long time of becoming part of Uno-X. The development of the team in recent years has been impressive and I believe I can take a further step forward as a rider in the environment that the team offers" said the thirty-year-old Danish rider after signing.

"I really cannot wait to be part of the strong team spirit that breathes through Uno-X. The way they race as a single entity is a source of inspiration and brings out the best in each one. I think it will be a fantastic environment for me" explained the Copenhagen native, ready until 2029 to defend the cause of Thor Hushovd's team.

A career winner of three professional races (the Figueira Champions Classic in 2023, Paris-Tours in 2020 and the first stage of the Tour of Denmark in 2017), Pedersen (no relation to his namesake Henrik) is the 23rd member of the Norwegian team's roster for the upcoming season which means, having 32 riders at their disposal (including stagiaires) at this moment, that someone from the current squad will leave Uno-X at the end of this season.

Together with the two trial riders from Team Drali-Repsol (Toralf Rydningen Martinsen and Håkon Eiksund Øksnes), those without an official agreement with the Scandinavian team for 2027 are William Blume Levy, Alexander Kamp, Andreas Kron, Markus Hoelgaard, Erik Nordsæter Resell, Simon Dalby, Martin Urianstad Bugge and the former Picnic Jonas Hem Hvideberg: all ten of them, clearly, would not mind staying within Uno-X but with the UCI limits regarding the maximum number (30) of riders for World Tour teams this is not possible and therefore, inevitably, someone of them will be forced in a few months to move elsewhere.
