The Italian tricolour jersey of Enrico Balliana shines once again at Calvagese della Riviera (Bs), where the Italian champion of Team Ecotek Zero24 conquers the Gold Medal Alba Rosa juniors race in solo fashion, confirming once more his superiority in explosive finishes.

Balliana approaches the finish line with a handful of seconds advantage after sharing the decisive move with Thomas Dalla Bona (FDB Sport Club). However, just over 1000 metres from the finish, the Veronese rider suffers a crash that breaks the balance of the breakaway and hands the tricolour wearer a complete victory, built nonetheless with strength and lucidity.

Behind them, the group of chasers battles for the podium: Renzo Mazzoleni of Team Guerrini Senaghese outsprints a group of 11 riders, completing the day's top-3.
