Let's be honest: after what we've seen in the first six stages, is there perhaps a stage where Tadej Pogacar doesn't start as the favorite? Today's stage as well, the seventh of the Vuelta, despite not being particularly grueling, smiles upon him, given that it features the second mountain-top finish of the race. On the agenda is the Vall d'Alba - Aramón Valdelinares, which measures 150 km and presents 3,750 meters of elevation gain.

A relatively short stage but characterized by numerous mountain passes: it begins after about fifty kilometers with the Puerto El Remolcador, 2nd category, 12 km at 4.3%; then comes Alto de Zucaina, 3rd category, 6 km at 5%, followed by Fuente de Rubielos, 3rd category, 6 km at 6.3%. With the Puerto de San Rafael, 2nd category, 11 km at 4.3%, we enter Aragon heading towards the finish line placed at the top of the Aramon Valdelinares climb, 1st category, 9.8 km at 5.9%.

There will certainly be a battle to get into the breakaway and secure valuable points for the blue polka dot jersey for the climbers, then - as mentioned - everything will depend on the race leader...
