With the World Championships adventure of Ivan Mosè Borghi Pellizzoni in Belgium and the Giro delle Tre Province in Emilia‑Romagna, Salus Seregno De Rosa resumes its competitive activities at full speed. From today until Sunday, August 23rd, Borghi Pellizzoni — already bronze in the team sprint at the Cottbus Europeans — will wear the blue jersey of the Italian National Team at the Track World Championships in Heusden‑Zolder, Belgium. For the Brianza rider, this represents another step in his international growth in sprint disciplines, with the goal of confirming what he has shown in recent continental competitions.
Great anticipation also surrounds the junior team, competing in the Giro delle Tre Province, a stage race that will unfold over four stages: Cavriago, Fontevivo, Castelnuovo Fogliani and Fidenza. The event will start Thursday, August 20th and conclude Sunday the 23rd, with a route that crosses some of the most technical territories in the province of Parma.
Leading the squad directed by Stefano Ferrone will be Italian champion Matteo Jacopo Gualtieri, who returns to wear the tricolor jersey after his second-place finish at Pisa-Volterra. Alongside him at the start are Giulio Moretto, Nicolò Raimondi, Pietro Pasquini and Giuseppe Tardini, a group called upon to play a leading role.
