For several months, the Groupama-FDJ United cycling team has been working closely with David Gaudu to help him regain a level of performance worthy of his talent and abilities.

After a season start that allowed him to rebuild a solid athletic foundation, David is going through a more difficult period and has not been able to fully recover his best form. Returning to racing at the end of June after a recovery period, the twenty-nine-year-old Frenchman has not finished a single race: withdrawal at the national championship, withdrawal at San Sebastian, withdrawal in the final stage of the Vuelta a Burgos, withdrawal at La Polynormande.

To consolidate the work carried out in recent months and to gather all the information necessary to plan the next steps, David will undergo a series of comprehensive medical examinations. The results will allow the team to personalize support, both in terms of training and in defining his racing calendar.
