Following the strong earthquakes that struck Colombia, the Colombian Cycling Federation has decided to declare the Vuelta a Colombia concluded prematurely, ending what was scheduled to finish on Sunday, August 16th.

«The Federation announces that, given the circumstances, the Vuelta a Colombia is considered concluded with the final victory of Diego Camargo» the federation stated in a press release, canceling the sixth stage that was set to depart from Manizales, one of the cities most affected by the earthquake, along with the three subsequent stages.
