He races little, much against his will, but there is plenty of talk about him. Primoz Roglic has been in the spotlight for weeks: after being hit by a car while training at the end of July, the Slovenian was forced to miss San Sebastian and the Vuelta a Burgos and his presence at the start of the Vuelta España continues to be uncertain.

And even if he were to line up at the start from the Principality of Monaco, as the Belgian newspaper HLN also writes, he certainly wouldn't do so with ambitions for the general classification, given his far from ideal form.

But Roglic is also the subject of much discussion regarding his future: the Slovenian will leave Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe at the end of the season, this is certain, and from Belgium they are reporting strong interest from Lotto Intermarché for him. We're not yet at an agreement, but there is mutual interest between the parties and this can certainly favor a deal: one more year, 2027, in the team for Roglic with the ambition to still be a protagonist while at the same time helping to develop the young talents of the Belgian team.
