The success of Marco Brenner brought the curtain down on the Tour of Poland, the 28th competition held out of 36 total events included in the 2026 World Tour calendar. With the first seasonal victories in races of the main UCI circuit by Dutchman Bart Lemmen, Swiss riders Jan Christen and Stefan Küng, Frenchman Louis Barré and Brenner himself, a total of 55 riders have now won at least one World Tour race, representing 17 nations.
Slovenian Tadej Pogacar remains the rider with the most World Tour victories this calendar year, with 19 wins, while Italian Jonathan Milan, thanks to his hat-trick at the Tour of Poland, has moved into fourth place in this ranking with 8 victories in the main UCI circuit.
Denmark maintains its position at the top of the nations' standings with 20 victories, while Italy, thanks to the Friuli-based sprinter's three-win haul, has reached 14 seasonal victories in World Tour races. Italian cycling has found success in the main UCI circuit after more than two months since Milan's previous victory on May 31st in the final stage of the Giro d'Italia.
