1: THE RETIREMENT OF A TOUR WINNER, AN UNPRECEDENTED EVENT
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot "didn't feel well" before the stage and didn't start. The French rider is the first defending champion of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift to abandon the race in the following edition. Furthermore, she is also the first Tour winner to retire from the race. Such an event had never occurred even in the previous edition of the women's Tour (1984-89). In the men's version, however, it has happened 22 times, most recently in 2020 with Egan Bernal.

5: THE MAGIC NUMBER OF THE DAY
Demi Vollering claims her fifth stage victory at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (her second in 2026), moving within just two victories of her compatriot Lorena Wiebes' record. It is also her fifth Yellow Jersey, just three short of the record held by another Dutch rider, Marianne Vos.

5: MORE LEADERS THAN EVER
Five was undoubtedly the magic number of the day for Demi Vollering. After Lorena Wiebes (stages 1-2), Sigrid Haugset (stage 3), Marlen Reusser (stages 4-6) and Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney (stage 7), the Dutch rider becomes the fifth different cyclist to lead the general classification in 2026. Five different Yellow Jersey holders in a single Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift: a new record! On Friday, Niewiadoma-Phinney had already set a new milestone by becoming the fourth different leader of the race.

8: THE CLOSEST 1-2 GAP EVER
Just 8 seconds separate the Yellow Jersey holder, Demi Vollering, from her closest rival, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney, after eight stages. This is the smallest gap in the general classification between the top two cyclists in the history of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift! The previous smallest gap between the top two on the eve of the final stage was 27 seconds, in 2024, when Niewiadoma-Phinney led Puck Pieterse.

15: GREEN JERSEY QUEEN
Lorena Wiebes claims her 16th green jersey (a record), but it is also her 15th consecutive one between the 2025 and 2026 editions of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift! The Dutch rider has maintained the top position in the points classification uninterruptedly since the third stage of the 2025 edition. Before that, her other green jersey came after the first stage of the 2022 edition, which marked the return of the women's race.

136: THE LONGEST BREAKAWAY OF THE EDITION
Loes Adegeest attacked at kilometer 27 alongside Maëva Squiban and found herself alone at the front of the group after the French rider's crash. She was caught by the peloton at kilometer 163, 9 kilometers from the finish. Her 136-kilometer breakaway is the longest of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

10: ADEGEEST BRINGS THE NETHERLANDS BACK TO THE TOP
Célia Gery claimed the ninth combativity award for France in the sixth stage, reaching the number of awards won by Dutch cyclists. Named the day's most combative cyclist, Loes Adegeest puts the Netherlands back on top of the standings with 10 awards. It is also her second victory in this race, two years after her first, in the fifth stage of 2024.

5x2: THE NETHERLANDS CONTINUES TO OUTDO ITALY!
Second on the day after Friday's third place, Elisa Longo Borghini records her best stage result at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. It is also the fifth time an Italian finishes in second place... always behind a Dutch rider! Italy now has 9 stage podiums, but still no victories.
