Numbers, curiosities and statistics help us re-read and delve deeper into what we witnessed in yesterday's stage and over the last three weeks. Follow along:
4: DEMI FORCE FOUR
Demi Vollering has claimed her fourth victory at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, following successes at Col du Tourmalet (2023, stage 7), Rotterdam (2024, stage 3) and Alpe d'Huez (2024, stage 8). Only her Dutch compatriot Lorena Wiebes has done better, with seven victories. Her last Tour victory came 717 days before this one.
1,471: A LONG WAIT COMES TO AN END
Demi Vollering delivers FDJ United-Suez their second victory at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The French team hadn't won since Danish rider Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig's triumph in Épernay in 2022 (stage 3): a gap of 1,471 days! This is also the second victory for a French team in the competition.
6: KOM-MISSION
Wearing the polka dot jersey, Puck Pieterse was first over the top of 6 categorized climbs on yesterday's stage, setting a new record for a single stage! Pieterse has claimed a total of 13 climbs at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (5 in 2024, 8 in 2026), another new record. She surpassed Belgian Justine Ghekiere, who won the polka dot jersey in 2024, who had claimed 9.
5: PUCK CHASES THE RECORD
Dutch cyclist Puck Pieterse claimed her fifth polka dot jersey yesterday, surpassing her Dutch compatriot Femke Gerritse (4), with whom she was previously tied. Only one cyclist has done better: Élise Chabbey, who wore all 9 polka dot jerseys at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2025. Pieterse will equal the Swiss rider's record if she keeps the jersey until the finish in Nice. This will also be Pieterse's tenth distinctive jersey, as she already boasts 5 white jerseys. She is the fourth cyclist to reach this milestone, after Marianne Vos (40 jerseys), Lorena Wiebes (32) and Lotte Kopecky (30), all Dutch.
13: THE CURSE IS BROKEN
By claiming her thirteenth green jersey, Lorena Wiebes surpasses her Dutch compatriot Marianne Vos and becomes the new record holder. The Dutch cyclist wore the points classification jersey for the first time in 2022 and has been the only one to wear the green jersey since stage three of the 2025 edition. This is also the Netherlands' 30th green jersey, with Charlotte Kool's 5 added to Wiebes' 13 and Vos' 12.
6: ALWAYS CLOSE, ALWAYS TURNED AWAY
Third yesterday, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney has claimed her sixth stage podium at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift… but still no victory! The 2024 yellow jersey winner holds the record for the most stage podiums without a victory, having achieved two second places and four third places.
1: NIEDERMAIER PUTS GERMANY ON THE MAP
New leader of the best young rider classification, Antonia Niedermaier claims the white jersey at her first Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. It's also Germany's first distinctive jersey ever in the race!
5: VOLLERING, AS ALWAYS, DOESN'T DISAPPOINT
Before claiming victory in Belleville-en-Beaujolais, Demi Vollering set the pace on Mont Brouilly (3 km at 7.7%), cresting first with an average speed of 20.8 km/h. The Dutch cyclist thus extends an extraordinary streak, becoming the only rider to have claimed at least one categorized climb in each of the five editions of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift since 2022.
