We invite cycle tourists and cycling enthusiasts to discover our splendid Valle above Cuneo, to pedal on asphalt thanks to the map and outdoors thanks to the great work of enhancement by the operators in the area. In recent days, at the conference hall (former exhibition hall) of the Province of Cuneo, the presentation meeting of "Pedal through Valle Stura and Surroundings" took place, a cycle tourism map created by the Benefit Company Onirica Srl, from Provaglio d'Iseo BS, aimed at the Municipalities of the Mountain Union of Valle Stura.

After institutional greetings, Massimo De Sanctis, administrator of Onirica Srl, illustrated the operational guidelines of the strategy aimed at bringing "quality" tourism to the territory capable of enhancing and showcasing the countless excellences and beauties present throughout Valle Stura.

Over 1,100 km of paved roads, with indications for the numerous unpaved routes already established. A range of routes that cover the entire Valley and allow for enhancing the tourism offering by engaging the increasingly broad target of cycle tourists and cycling enthusiasts.

Slow, ecological, sustainable tourism for cycling enthusiasts who finally find a digital compass guiding them to discover the Excellences of refreshment and assistance points, and the (sometimes steep) roads of the territory.

The project has resulted in the map and indicates:

Loop routes from and for each of the 13 participating Municipalities, designed on mixed roads with varying distances to accommodate every type of cycle tourist. Over 1,100 km of routes among the "ups and downs" of the territory for over 26,000 meters of elevation gain;

Information sheet for each Municipality with a specific map of loop routes from and for the Municipality itself, a list of Excellences and artistic, monumental, and naturalistic beauties to see, and a list of excellences such as accommodations, restaurants, wine and food producers, and agribusiness operators to visit.

The map created in collaboration with Onirica Srl Benefit Company from Provaglio d'Iseo, which conceived the project, and graphic designer Denise Pippo from Villanova del Battista, is available in digital and paper format (at the discretion of each Municipality), and is distributed to all Italian tourism and cycle tourism operators with the objective of promoting this new tourism opportunity in the Valle Stura territories, with the support of Tour operators and Welfare platforms partnering with Onirica.

Sustainability: No custom-made APP created to avoid feeding CO2 production in the atmosphere caused by data servers—a sustainability choice shared with the participating Municipalities. Instead, an interactive PDF with Google Maps that aims to suggest possible routes that each cycle tourist can manage as they see fit, deciding how to plan, what to visit, and which app to use to spend their cycling days in Valle Stura.

Social: Onirica will create tourism packages and couple experiences (dinners, shopping, spa routes) with destinations in the Municipalities, in collaboration with the Excellences selected in the territory. For each Gift Voucher sold, Onirica will allocate 7 per 1000 to Neurons, an Association that will in turn allocate the collected funds to support associations and educational institutions in the Territory.
