The Vangi Ladies Cycling Team is crowned Italian champion in the junior women's team time trial, inaugurating with a clear victory the tricolor day at Codroipo (Udine). The Tuscan quintet composed of Teodora Castelli, Serena Del Grosso, Aurora Di Francesco, Elena Geppi and Livia Rossi dominated the 14.5 km course, stopping the clock at 20'03"28, a performance that secures the national title.

The Vangi-led team built their victory with a compact, well-paced and technically clean performance, leaving 50 seconds behind Polisportiva Fiumicinese FAIT Adriatica, the runners-up, and 51 seconds behind UC Giorgione, third on the podium.
