The elite Omnium Italian titles have been awarded at the Francone velodrome in San Francesco al Campo. Among the men, it was a day to remember for Matteo Fiorin, who becomes Italian Champion after playing a leading role in all four events on the program, highlighted by his victory in the Elimination race.
In the overall standings, the athlete from the Centro Sportivo Esercito finishes in first place with 154 points, ahead of Niccolò Galli (151) and Davide Stella (145), at the end of a competitive and technically high-level Omnium.
In the women's elite Omnium event, Rachele Barbieri takes the victory. The athlete from Fiamme Oro completes her performance with 148 points, managing the four events with solidity and confirming herself as the most complete competitor in the field. Behind her, Matilde Vitillo (Liv AlUla Jayco) takes the silver medal, totaling 137 points, while the bronze goes to Martina Fidanza, also representing Fiamme Oro, with a total of 132 points.
