The 29th edition of the Fiorenzuola International Grand Prix – 6 Days of the White Roses closes with the victories of American Anna Hicks in the Elite Women's Points Race – G.P. Rossetti Market and the Italian pairing Matteo Fiorin - Nicolò Galli in the Elite Men's Americana – G.P. Siderpighi. The two events delivered a spectacular finale to a six-day event that brought Olympic, World and European champions to the "Attilio Pavesi" Velodrome, confirming itself as one of the most prestigious international appointments on the UCI calendar.
ELITE WOMEN'S POINTS RACE – G.P. ROSSETTI MARKET, HICKS CLOSES IN STYLE
American Anna Hicks, the reigning Pan-American champion in the Points Race, claimed victory in the Elite Women's Points Race – G.P. Rossetti Market, the final women's event of the Fiorenzuola International Grand Prix – 6 Days of the White Roses. The race was characterized by the lap gained by the top three finishers, which reignited the battle for victory through to the closing sprints. Hicks built her advantage thanks to extraordinary consistency in the intermediate sprints, finishing with 51 points. Behind her, Valeriya Valgonen in second place with 41 points, and Japanese rider Tsuyaka Uchino in third with 37 points, both also managing to gain a lap on the field. Best Italian finisher was Rachele Barbieri in fourth place with 13 points.
ELITE MEN'S AMERICANA – G.P. SIDERPIGHI, FIORIN AND GALLI CLOSE IN TRIUMPH
Fifteen sprints, continuous changes of pace and a race that remained wide open throughout characterized the Elite Men's Americana – G.P. Siderpighi, the concluding event of the Fiorenzuola International Grand Prix – 6 Days of the White Roses. The Il Rintocco pairing, formed by Italians Matteo Fiorin and Nicolò Galli, built their success thanks to extraordinary consistency, attacking and scoring points in numerous sprints and closing with 50 points, with no other pairing managing to gain a lap. Behind them came the Daniil Zarakovskiy - Grigorii Skorniakov tandem of Plurimec in second place with 33 points, and Sergey Rostovtsev - Nikita Tsvetkov of Ferri in third with 25 points. The evening opened with the event dedicated to the Youth category, counting as the concluding race of the Benvenuto Corradi "Pacio" Challenge, named after the historic volunteer of the "Attilio Pavesi" Velodrome. A wonderful celebration of sport and youth cycling that brought dozens of children and their families to the track, delivering enthusiasm and color before the grand finale of the event.
The curtain thus falls on the 29th edition of the Fiorenzuola International Grand Prix – 6 Days of the White Roses, six days of great track cycling that saw some of the world's best track specialists compete at the "Attilio Pavesi" Velodrome alongside many young talents destined to carry on their legacy.
