At the Fiorenzuola International Grand Prix – 6 Days of the White Roses, the third day was dedicated to the omniums, both men's and women's, both at the highest level, with several Olympic and world champions competing. The participation was so large that qualifying rounds were necessary in the afternoon for both categories. In the end, Olympic champion Chiara Consonni and Ilya Savekin prevailed, both with full merit.

MEN'S ELITE OMNIUM – G.P. ACEF, SAVEKIN HOLDS ON AND CONQUERS FINAL VICTORY
Savekin secured the Men's Elite Omnium – G.P. ACEF, at the end of a day full of plot twists. After American Michael Graeme Frislie's success in the Scratch, the Tempo Race was dominated by the long solo breakaway of Rostislav Novolodskii, while the Elimination relaunched Savekin's ambitions, winner of the third event ahead of Japanese Kazushige Kuboki and Uzbek Nikita Tsvetkov. The decisive Points Race, whose points were added directly to the general classification, confirmed the balance of the competition. Savekin managed the advantage accumulated in the first three events, closing with 122 points and ahead of Gleb Syritsa (115) and Uzbek Nikita Tsvetkov (114). Fifth place in the final standings for Italian Simone Consonni, the best Italian in the final rankings.

WOMEN'S ELITE OMNIUM – G.P. ASSIPRIME, CHIARA CONSONNI TRIUMPHS AFTER A HEART-STOPPING FINALE
A brilliant Chiara Consonni managed to win the Women's Elite Omnium – G.P. ASSIPRIME, at the end of a race that remained wide open until the final lap of the decisive Points Race. After Lithuanian Olivija Baleišytė's success in the Scratch, American Anna Hicks' victory in the Tempo Race and Consonni's own win in the Elimination, the final event definitively reshuffled the cards. The Italian from the Fiamme Azzurre, leading after the first three events with 100 points, defended her position closing at 111 points. Behind her, American Anna Hicks, protagonist of an extraordinary comeback up to 102 points, the same points as Australian Helena Odette Lynch, third place. Seventh place in the final standings for fellow Italian Rachele Barbieri, also a protagonist during the day.

Among the evening's guests was also the president of the Italian Cycling Federation Cordiano Dagnoni and the FCI general secretary Marcello Tolu, who presented the event winners on stage.
