The future of information passes through quality, rootedness in the territory and the ability to use different languages without abandoning the principles of journalism. This is the message launched by Fabrizio Iseni - president of Iseni Editori Group, great friend of cycling and tuttobiciweb - in his speech at Malpensa24 Tv (channel 410 of digital terrestrial television), where he retraces the stages of the editorial growth of the Group: from the acquisition of Ticino Notizie to the consolidation of Malpensa24, up to the launch of television. Watch the interview:
Future and Memory
The recent acquisition of Ticino Notizie stems from a precise entrepreneurial but also personal choice. "The mission of the Iseni Foundation and our family is to give back to the territory part of what we have received. Malpensa24, Ticino Notizie and today Malpensa24 Tv represent the tribute we want to dedicate to the memory of my mother and my father", explains Iseni.
The Road and the Territory
The objective is to give continuity to an editorial project already rooted in the territory. "I found people who wanted to continue telling the story of their territory, the story of those who live there, of those who suffer and of those who every day contribute to the growth of this community. Our will is to continue on that path".
One of the central passages of the interview concerns the launch of Malpensa24 Tv, a countercurrent choice at a time when many invest exclusively in digital. "No one today wants to invest in television, but we have the duty to tell with knowledge and conscience what happens in our communities", states the publisher.
Ethics and Professionalism
Television thus becomes a piece of the group's cross-media project. "What is said on television remains fixed and verifiable. This is why we believe in a local television capable of telling the story of Lombardy and Piedmont, while reaching all of Italy through channel 410".
Ample space is also given to the value of professional journalism in the age of social media and artificial intelligence. "Deontology and ethics allow the reader to have verified news and to build a conscious opinion", emphasizes Iseni, recalling how "before writing one must evaluate the sources, use one's head, because with an article one can irreparably harm people".
Finally, a message addressed to young people. "Malpensa24 Tv, Ticino Notizie and Malpensa24 open the doors to future journalists of the territory. We want to invest in their culture and professionalism", concludes the president of Iseni Editori Group, reiterating that technology is important, but true journalism still stems from responsibility, listening and respect for the person.
