The teams of great champions have an inescapable principle: always seeking the best, if possible even perfection. It is with this vision that Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe has reached an agreement with Livigno, which becomes the Official Altitude Training
Destination of the UCI World Tour team for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, with an option for 2028.
For many years, the Valtellina locality has been chosen by many sports champions, not only cyclists, as an ideal location for preparation, and in recent years Livigno has developed a complete ecosystem, in constant evolution, dedicated to performance that combines altitude, infrastructure, specialized hospitality, and a rich heritage of routes capable of meeting the needs of the world's best professional cyclists.
Specifically, Jai Hindley and Nico Denz trained in Livigno in preparation for the Tour de France, the same will happen with the team competing in the Vuelta a España, with Primož Roglič in the role of team leader, and then with the riders who will race the World Championships and the end-of-season classics.
The collaboration is part of the development path of the 1816 Bike Zone Livigno, the project that brings together under a single identity everything the territory expresses in the bike world: major events, altitude training, specialized services, dedicated hospitality, and a community that lives cycling as an integral part of its identity. The choice of the Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe Team represents a new confirmation of Livigno's ability to attract some of the most authoritative realities in international professional cycling.
