The Junior riders from Pool Cantù – Sovico – GB Team shone on the first day of the Lombardy regional track cycling championships. On Tuesday, at the legendary Vigorelli Maspes Velodrome in Milan, the Brianza-based team celebrated victory in the Team Pursuit event.

Andrea Pierobon, Luca Vitale, Fabio Di Leo and Simone Marconi conquered the regional title and claimed the Lombard champions' jersey, standing on the highest step of the podium with a time of 3'08" over the 3 km distance.

In second place was the "mixed team" composed of Dalola, Ponti, Ronda and Iazzi, while in third place came the quartet from Alba Orobia Biassono made up of Matteini, Carelli, Longo and Daccò.
