Next Sunday Autozai Contri will race at the 67th Piva Junior Day, a prestigious race immersed in the splendid and spectacular scenery of the Prosecco hills. An unmissable appointment that promises great spectacle, but which will also require maximum strategic and physical effort from the entire team due to a particularly selective course.
The race route is indeed shaping up to be technical and demanding, divided into two different circuits that leave no room for distractions. Riders will first have to tackle an 11.9-kilometer loop to be repeated six times, characterized by continuous attacks ideal for warming up and thinning out the group. Subsequently, the race will move to a second circuit of 17.7 kilometers to be repeated twice; this will be the true judge of the day, as it contains within it the tough and selective Combai climb, the ascent where decisive attacks will presumably be unleashed and where those with strong legs will try to make the difference for the final victory.
Defending the team's colors will be Gianmaria Chinello, Alberto Donà, Manuel Salmaso, Tommaso Bottaro, Ludovico Affini, Xavier Bordignon, Edoardo Riccadona, Federico Ros and Andrea Furlanis.
There is great enthusiasm and concentration at Autozai Contri. The riders arrive at this appointment in excellent physical condition and with the awareness of having to race as a team, united and compact from the first to the last kilometer. The objective remains to interpret an attacking race, managing energy as best as possible over the two tough circuits.
