Italy also earns a medal in the UNDER 23 KILOMETRE. Fabio Del Medico takes third place in the continental competition with a final time of 1'02"867. A French double as they claim gold with Etienne Oliviero (1'02"174) and silver with Matthias Sylvanise (1'02"622)
Bronze also comes for the U23 WOMEN'S TEAM SPRINT (Siria Trevisam, Matilde Venci and Amita Baima) who beat Poland in the bronze medal race with a time of 1'08"797. Gold and title for the Independent Athletes selection and silver for Germany.
