Another solitary victory for Paula Blasi. The talented Spanish rider from UAE Team ADQ completed the 130 kilometers of the second stage of the Volta a Catalunya that took the athletes from Sant Vicenç de Castellet to La Molina with arms raised. Behind her, racing on home roads, Celia Gery (FDJ United-SUEZ), second at 1'22" back and Sidney Swierenga (Liv AlUla Jayco), third at 1'36".

Blasi also claims the leader's jersey of the general classification of the race which will conclude tomorrow in Barcelona at the end of a stage that will start from Mataró.
