From Thursday 18 to Friday 26 June 2026 Cittadella, a municipality in the province of Padua, will host the 11th edition of the Veneto Trail, one of Italy's leading events dedicated to bikepacking and unsupported bicycle adventures.

  The Veneto Trail is organized by ASD Superbike Pozzetto, affiliated with the Italian Cycling Federation and chaired by Valentino Bosco, with the patronage of the Veneto Region and the Municipality of Cittadella. The start and finish of the event has been scheduled in the renowned medieval walled city of Cittadella, thus confirming itself as a reference point for adventure cycling enthusiasts.

  The route, approximately 480 kilometres long with over 11,000 metres of elevation gain, will traverse some of the most spectacular locations in the region: from the Asiago Plateau of the 7 Municipalities to the Lagorai, from the Dolomites to the sacred Monte Grappa, thus offering participants a unique sporting experience and contributing, not only as a sporting event but also with socio-cultural significance, to the promotion and enhancement of the Cittadella area and the wider Veneto territory.

  The 2026 edition will see over 300 participants at the start, with more than 50% of registered athletes coming from across Europe and other countries outside Europe. An international presence that also represents an opportunity for territorial tourism promotion, thanks also to the stay of athletes and their companions in the days before and after the event.

  The traditional "Welcome Dinner" will officially open the weekend, scheduled for Thursday 18 June at Campo della Marta: the initiative is open not only to participants, but also to citizens, supporters and cycling enthusiasts, who will thus have the opportunity to meet friends from past adventures, get to know the protagonists of the event and share their passion for bicycle travel.   The intense cycling activity of the Cittadella-based team continues, which was founded in 2003 with headquarters at the "Circolo Noi" of the Pozzetto Parish in Cittadella. The association specializes in mountain biking, also operates on road, presents itself with a prestigious trophy cabinet and actively collaborates in the races of the International Trophy Grand Prix Città Murata.
