Autozai Contri is ready to return to racing with the objective of relaunching itself and regaining its role as a protagonist. The opportunity will be represented by the 2nd G.P. Città del Mandorlato in Cologna Veneta, scheduled for Sunday, June 7th.
The Verona-based competition will feature a particularly selective course, designed to test endurance and race interpretation skills. After an initial circuit of 4.9 kilometers to be repeated seven times, the challenge will indeed intensify with a demanding final stretch characterized by six categorized climbs, which will keep the race open and spectacular until the final kilometers.
To tackle this demanding route, Autozai Contri will field Ludovico Affini, Gabriele Bertagnoli, Xavier Bordignon, Tommaso Bottaro, Gianmaria Chinello, Alberto Donà, Andrea Furlanis, Mathias Paludetti, Marco Pierotto, Edoardo Riccadona, Manuel Salmaso and Davide Zanei.
The objective will be to interpret the race in an aggressive manner, seeking to be present in the decisive moments of the competition and to achieve results in line with the value expressed by the team during this season.
Autozai Contri's weekend will also be completed by the international commitment of Lorenzo Ceccarello and Thomas Mariotto who, today and tomorrow, will defend the colors of the Italian National Team at the G.P. F.W.R. Baron - Lago Le Bandie - Pieve del Grappa, confirming once again the presence of the Verona-based team at the highest levels of the junior cycling landscape.
