Nicolò Garibbo puts his signature on the third stage of the Tour de Kumano, in Japan, with a display of pure strength. The Ligurian rider from Team Ukyo, despite the crash suffered in the opening stage, built a winning breakaway on the toughest day of the race, dropping everyone and crossing the finish line alone. Behind him the Australians Burns and Browning, unable to close the gap created by the rider managed by Boaro and Volpi in the decisive section. For Garibbo this is the second victory of the season, after his success in the first stage of the Giro di Sardegna.

In the general classification the Italian rider moves up to second place, 14 seconds behind leader Burns, leaving everything open heading into the final act. Tomorrow the grand finale in Taiji, with Garibbo ready to play his cards until the last meter.
