On Sunday, April 26, the Giro dell'Appennino will get underway, a 196.8 km race that maintains the traditional route while introducing a renewed finish on Genoa's Waterfront, with a more direct finale thanks to the reduction of the flat section following the descent from Madonna della Guardia.
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber will line up with Luca Covili, Alex Tolio, Alessio Martinelli, Mattia Stenico, Luca Paletti and Vicente Rojas, directed from the team car by Roberto Reverberi and Alessandro Donati. The race will be broadcast on a delayed basis on RaiSport from 22:00.
On the same day, the first stage of the Tour of Türkiye also gets underway, scheduled until May 3, with a route in line with continuity from recent editions: opportunities for the sprinters but also two uphill finishes, at Kıran and Feslikan, decisive for the general classification. The race will start from Çeşme and conclude in Ankara.
Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber will field a young lineup composed of Marco Manenti, Luca Colnaghi, Matteo Turconi, Filippo Cettolin, Lorenzo Conforti, Nikita Tsvetkov and Santiago Ferraro, under the guidance of directeurs sportifs Mirko Rossato and Luca Amoriello. Live coverage on Eurosport 2 from 11:30.
