The final stage of the Tour of the Alps features today 128.6 km from Trento to Bolzano: a short but tricky stage, open to possible upsets in the general classification. After an opening characterized by the Palù di Giovo climb, with the intermediate sprint dedicated to Sara Piffer (who will also be remembered at the start), the route continues along the Wine Road to Caldaro, where riders will face the Caldaro Alta ascent (4.4 km at 6.6%).
With 50 km to go, the first passage through the Bolzano finish line is scheduled, a prelude to an intense finale: riders will climb towards San Genesio entering a 19 km circuit to be repeated twice, enhanced by the Montoppio climb (9.2 km at 6.2%). After the final summit, a fast descent will bring riders back to the Bolzano finish line, where the winner of the 2026 Tour of the Alps will be crowned. The Tour of the Alps will also remember Sara Piffer at the start in Trento, with a safety ride dedicated to the memory of the athlete from Palù di Giovo.
In Bolzano, finally, the #TotA will welcome a visit from FC Südtirol: in Piazza del Tribunale there will be activities for children and an invitation to all enthusiasts ahead of the important Serie B match that will see the South Tyrolean team face Mantova.
The Bike Experience will also conclude in the capital of South Tyrol, which this year is seeing cyclists engaged in an exclusive three-day event organized in Trentino and South Tyrol. Among the protagonists of these initiatives are also Daniele Bennati and Lukas Pöstlberger, ambassadors of the #TotA 2026.
