An intense weekend awaits the Autozai Contri team, facing three major appointments on the international calendar that will test the squad's condition, strategy and depth across very different courses.
It all begins today with the prestigious Liberazione Juniores, one of the most anticipated classics in the youth cycling scene. The route will unfold over 15 laps of the technical Caracalla Thermal Baths circuit, a context that will require constant attention and race-reading ability. Competing for the Verona-based team will be: Xavier Bordignon, Filippo Grigolini, Marco Pierotto, Edoardo Riccadona and Federico Ros.
The following day, Saturday April 25th, the squad will be competing in Friuli Venezia Giulia in the 71st Coppa Montes - Gran Premio della Resistenza, a selective 120 km race. The course, made demanding by four mountain stages and several climbs, will reward the most resilient and consistent athletes. Autozai Contri will line up with Ludovico Affini, Andrea Furlanis, Thomas Mariotto, Mathias Paludetti and Davide Zanei.
The trilogy will conclude on Sunday April 26th in Veneto with the 15th Giro di Primavera - 2nd Trophy "Gino Mazzer", now in its 15th edition. The route features a first flat phase on a 10 km circuit to be repeated five times, followed by a rolling 10.2 km course to be tackled six times, ideal for attacks and decisive moves in the final stages. Defending the team's colors will be Xavier Bordignon, Andrea Furlanis, Thomas Mariotto, Marco Pierotto, Edoardo Riccadona and Davide Zanei.
A significant test for the entire team, called upon to consolidate its growth trajectory and gather important feedback. Autozai Contri approaches the start with ambition and determination, ready to play a leading role.
