The first races of the season have shaped the initial standings of the Oscar tuttoBICI Grand Prix Banca Mediolanum reserved for Junior riders. Obviously these are just the first points accumulated and the situation is still very much to be determined, so much so that among the first-year riders there are three competitors tied at the top of the standings: the Lombard Luca Pavani (Sporteven Cycling Group), the Sicilian Alessandro D'Amico (GDS Team Competition) and the Ligurian Nicola Garsi (Team PiùSport).
Among the second-year riders, Alessandro Bellettini (SC Cotignolese) has immediately taken the lead, having already won the Oscar among first-year riders in the previous season. And in his wake are the Lazio-based Alberto Antonio Malerba (Il Pirata Sama Ricambi OTC) and the Campania native Francesco Coletta (Team Cesaro Neri Sottoli).
There are still many racing weekends and many appointments ahead to reopen the competition, consolidate positions and perhaps overturn the current situation, so... keep following us.
