An intense and action-packed weekend awaits the Autozai Contri team, ready to take to the road with two squads competing in two prestigious appointments.
Today the spotlight falls on the 62nd Giro della Castellania, a race that will see Ludovico Affini, Gianmaria Chinello, Alberto Donà, Andrea Furlanis, Thomas Mariotto, Edoardo Riccadona and Federico Ros at the start. A demanding and selective course awaits the athletes: three laps of a 36-kilometre circuit characterized by the challenging Nonio climb, set to make the difference, before the short but decisive final ascent towards the Pratolungo finish line. A race that will reward those who know how to manage their energy and seize the right moment to make a difference.
Tomorrow will be the turn of the 4th Piccola Liegi delle Bregonze, a race that will field Xavier Bordignon, Lorenzo Ceccarello, Filippo Grigolini - European champion and cyclocross world vice-champion, making his seasonal road debut with the Autozai Contri jersey - Thomas Mariotto, Marco Pierotto, Manuel Salmaso and Davide Zanei. The course presents itself as varied and treacherous: an initial 8-kilometre circuit to be repeated five times will serve as a prelude to two passages over a rolling 32-kilometre route, before tackling the final Tavani climb and the gravel finish, an element that could further shuffle the cards.
Two appointments different in character, but both of high technical level, in which Autozai Contri will seek to carve out a leading role by leveraging team solidity, determination and adaptability. The weekend represents a significant milestone to continue on the path of growth, with the objective of consolidating the work carried out so far.
