Frenchman Mathys Grisel won the third stage of the Tour of Taiwan in a sprint finish, contested over a distance of 146 km with start and finish in Kaohsiung. The Lotto-Intermarché rider beat his fellow countryman Hennequin of Euskaltel-Euskadi and Japanese rider Terada of Team Ukyo, with Andrea D'Amato, also of Team Ukyo, crossing the line in fourth place.

Grisel pulls off the double and also conquers the leader's jersey of the Asian race.
