The youth project bearing the signature of Michele Bartoli, once a great cycling champion, is in its initial phase. The Michele Bartoli Academy has involved and continues to involve various organizations, and the project aims to establish a proper cycling school with its motto "grow, dream and pedal".

This journey has begun (the headquarters is located in Vicopisano) with very young cyclists, already about fifteen in number, but it will continue in higher categories as well. Bartoli, his wife Alessandra Ciuffardi and their collaborators are enthusiastic about this new experience, whose program was presented during a festive gathering at the Le Colombaie restaurant in Ponsacco. The organization has important sponsors as traveling companions, such as System Data owned by Stefano Silla, a great admirer of Bartoli during his racing career, Snep SPA, Fabbri Carrelli Elevatori, Apparound, Yachtline 1618, Ciclidea, while there is also a collaboration relationship with the municipality of Vicopisano thanks to sports assessor Valentina Bertini.

The Pisan municipal administration will make available a road circuit of about two kilometers for the group's peaceful training sessions during the week. The team is entrusted to three young sports directors for its development and always in the spirit of fun, as cycling should be at the youth level. These directors are former athletes who understand the dynamics of today's youth cycling: Mirco Buti, Gabriele Cantini and Virginia Gelichi. A project full of enthusiasm, passion and commitment, with a group of young athletes who help one another and which has significant social and educational impact.
