INEOS Grenadiers has expanded its talent development pathway through a new partnership with the Italian junior team Team Nordest Petrucci Assali Stefen.
The collaboration is part of the team's strategy to strengthen relationships within the sports development system, supporting promising cyclists from the early stages of their growth and sharing knowledge and experience at WorldTour level.
Following the launch of the INEOS Grenadiers Racing Academy, this partnership adds to existing collaborations with the prestigious British team Camsmajaco and the respected Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team in North America.
Geraint Thomas, Sporting Director of INEOS Grenadiers, stated: "One of the most important things for young cyclists is to learn about themselves and understand what it takes to reach the top of this sport. Partnerships like this aim to share experiences and create the right environment for their talent to grow. Italy has a very strong cycling culture and Team Nordest Petrucci Assali Stefen is a well-managed program with genuine attention to cyclist development. By working together, we can support this process and, hopefully, help more young cyclists make this step forward in the years to come".
